Hardware& Accessories for Optical Fibre Aerial Cables
The optical fibre aerial cables(ADSS or OPGW) can be stressed up to a limited tensile force without any increase of the optical signal damping in the fibers. However, in the case of a radial force, the optical damping will increase by bounds. This increase can lead to a reduction of the information flow through the fibers.
As the optical fibers must be protected against inadmissible radial forces during and after the installation of optical fibre aerial cables, the fittings at the tension-, suspension- and fixing points have to meet special requirements.
The operation principle of helical formed accessories is based on the principle of the development of a low pressure over a large area. The induced radial forces are spread over a larger contact surface (for example dead end) in such a way that the fibers are not insufferable stressed and the necessary gripping forces are achieved. By wrapping the helical rods on a optical fibre aerial cable, a spring tension is created, producing the necessary frictional contact. This spring tension is elastic and ensures a constant grip.
To ensure the full performance, helical formed accessories must exactly be adapted to the outside diameter of optical fibre aerial cable .

Suspension assembly sets for ADSS(single type)
1. The suspension clamps is holding and hanging ADSS cable on the suspension towers or poles
2. According to the span length , there has different optional configuration:
a. Recommending for span length within 100 meters( small clamp with rubber inserts)
b. Recommending for span length within 50 meters( helical rods with ring thimble)
c. Recommending for span length 100~150 meters (clamp body with rubber insert, protection rods-inner layer)
d. Recommending for span length over 150 meters (Protection rods-inner layer, clamp body with rubber insert
with helical rods assembling-outer layer)
3. The connecting fittings(U-shackle,twisted eye link) will be included according to the requirements
1. All clamp body : Aluminum ally; Inserts: Rubber
2. Helical rods (short span with ring type ): Aluminum clad steel
3. Protection rods -Inner layer :Aluminum alloy wires
4. Helical rods for assembling the clamp -outer layer: Aluminum alloy wires
5. Connecting fittings : such as U-shackle,twisted eye link,link ring and so on, all ferrous parts are hot dip galvanized. For detail can refer in our “connecting fittings” .

Suspension assembly sets for ADSS(Double type)
1. Double suspension clamp is applied for ADSS cable on the support angle or elevation angle approximately 25°-60°. It substantially reduces static stress on the suspension point, and it overcomes the dynamic stress caused by the wind vibration. Its unique features not only lend a tender angle to the cable hung on the big angle support,but also reduce cable bending stress.
2. The broken strength: 70KN and 100KN;The slipping strength is Approx. 10-20%RTS of cable.
3. The suspension clamp includes:outer preformed rods,inner preformed armor rods,and two suspension clamp bodies.
4. The connecting fittings(U-shackle,yoke plate,PS-7 clevis) will be included according to the requirements
